About these terms

These terms are between you and Quran Lessons Online UK, 536 Stratford Road, Birmingham B11 4AJ. If you are booking lessons for a child, you accept these terms on the child's behalf. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Our service

We provide live, one-to-one online Quran lessons of 30 minutes, taught over Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, at times agreed in UK time. Courses and levels are described on our website.

Free trial

New learners can take three days of lessons free of charge. There is no obligation to continue, and we do not take payment details to book the trial.

Plans and payment

• After the trial, you can choose a monthly plan of two to five lessons a week at the prices shown on our pricing page when you enrol.
• Plans are per learner. Each additional child from the same family receives a 10% discount.
• Fees are charged monthly in pounds sterling. We will confirm how and when to pay when you enrol.
• If we change our prices, we will tell you before the change applies to you.

Lessons and scheduling

• Lesson days and times are agreed with you when you enrol, in UK time.
• If you cannot attend a lesson, please tell us as early as possible.
• You can ask to change your lesson days, times or teacher at any time, and we will do our best to arrange it.
• You are responsible for a working device, internet connection and the platform needed to join lessons.

Conduct and safety

We expect respectful behaviour from teachers and learners alike. For learners under 18, a parent or guardian remains responsible for the child during lessons and is welcome to sit in. Our commitments are set out on our safeguarding page. We may end lessons if a learner or parent behaves abusively towards a teacher.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by contacting us. Your right to cancel within 14 days, and how refunds work, are explained in our refund and cancellation policy.

Our responsibility to you

We will teach with reasonable care and skill, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. If a lesson we have agreed to provide does not take place because of us, we will rearrange it or refund it. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for lessons missed because of problems with your own equipment or connection. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. Our use of personal information is explained in our privacy policy.
