For you
Female Quran teacher for sisters and girls
Learn the Quran one-to-one with a female teacher, from home and in UK time. Whether you are starting from the alphabet, perfecting your tajweed or memorising the Quran, or you want a female teacher for your daughter, every lesson can be with a woman.
One-to-one · 30-minute lessons · UK time · from £25 a month
Learning with a female Quran tutor
Many sisters feel more at ease learning with a woman: asking questions freely, reciting aloud without self-consciousness, and keeping the camera on so the teacher can see the mushaf and correct each letter. With a female tutor, every part of the lesson is private and comfortable.
Female teachers teach every course: Noorani Qaida, Quran reading, tajweed, hifz, Quranic Arabic, tafseer and Islamic studies. Lessons are taught in English, with teachers who can also explain in Urdu, Arabic or Bengali.
For girls and daughters
Parents often choose a female teacher for daughters, especially as they grow older. Lessons are one-to-one and 30 minutes long, and parents can sit in on any lesson. Teachers never contact children outside lessons; see our safeguarding commitments. Brothers and sisters can have back-to-back lessons, with 10% off each additional child.
Hifz with a female teacher
Memorising the Quran needs a teacher who listens to every line, every day. A female hifz teacher plans your new lesson (sabaq), recent revision (sabaq para) and older revision (manzil), and keeps a record of your progress. Estimate your timeline with the hifz planner, or read how to memorise the Quran.
Times that fit family life
Lessons are booked in UK time, at a slot that suits you: early mornings before the school run, while children are at school, or in the evening once they are in bed. Mothers often learn at the same time as their children, each with their own teacher. Plans start from £25 a month, and the first three days are free; see pricing and how it works.
New Muslim sisters are especially welcome: see our Quran classes for reverts. For an overview of everything we teach, visit our online Quran classes page.
