Quran classes for families in Scotland
Scotland's Muslim community is concentrated in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen, but many families live in towns such as Paisley, Motherwell, Kilmarnock, Inverness or Stornoway, far from a full-time madrasa. Learning online means a child in Lerwick has the same one-to-one teacher as a child in Pollokshields.
Scotland's latitude makes lesson planning genuinely different. In late December the sun sets in Glasgow before 4pm, so Maghrib can fall before an after-school lesson starts; in June it sets after 10pm, which pushes Maghrib and Isha very late.
Many Scottish families combine a weekend class at the local mosque with weekday lessons at home, while families in the Highlands, Borders and islands often rely on online lessons alone. Teachers explain in English, with Urdu and Arabic available, which suits both long-established Pakistani-heritage families in the Central Belt and newer Arabic-speaking families.

Questions from families in Scotland
Do lessons follow Scottish school holidays?
Yes. You choose your lesson days, so you can keep lessons going through the Scottish summer break from late June, pause them, or add extra days for a summer hifz or Qaida push before school returns in August.
Is there a Quran centre in Scotland I can visit?
No, we teach online only; our registered address is in Birmingham.
