Quran classes for families in London
London has the largest Muslim population of any region in England, around 1.3 million people at the 2021 census, and its communities are among the most varied in the world: Bengali-speaking families in the East End, Somali and Arab communities across the city, and South Asian families from Southall to Ilford. Our teachers explain in English, with Urdu, Arabic and Bengali available, so the language at home is never a barrier.
Central London, from Canary Wharf and the City to the South Bank, Vauxhall and Battersea, is also home to many professionals who learn the Quran for themselves, often fitting a 30-minute lesson around a commute on the Jubilee or Northern line.
London families often juggle tutoring, clubs and long journeys, and a madrasa class across the borough can take two hours out of an evening. A 30-minute online lesson takes 30 minutes. Professionals working in the City or Canary Wharf can also learn for themselves at lunchtime, on a laptop in a quiet meeting room.
