Quran classes for families in the North West

The North West has some of England's largest Muslim communities, in Manchester, Blackburn, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale and Preston, but many families also live in Cumbria, the Lake District and rural Cheshire, where there may be no regular Quran class at all. Online lessons give a family in Kendal or Penrith the same teacher as a family in Rusholme.

Lancashire's mill towns have long-established Gujarati and Pakistani-heritage communities, and many families want teachers who understand the traditions their children have grown up with.

Across the North West, families in the big towns often have a madrasa nearby, while families in Cumbria and rural Cheshire may not. Online lessons suit both: as extra one-to-one support, or as the main way to learn.
