“Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion, and He has power over all things; the One who created death and life to test you, which of you is best in deeds. And He is the Almighty, the Forgiving.”Al-Mulk 67:1–2 (meaning). Arabic: Tanzil (Uthmani, Hafs)

Its virtues

The Prophet ﷺ said that a surah of the Quran of thirty verses interceded for a man until he was forgiven, and that it is "Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion" (at-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud, graded hasan). He would also recite it, with Surah As-Sajdah, before sleeping. That is why reciting it each night is such a common habit.
